Nothing is better than actually going outside to play. Sometimes, Mother Nature can get in the way of that. There are some great ways to stay fit by using technology. One of my favorites is using the Wii and Wii Fit.

Of course it's raining-again...after a 7 day stretch of gorgeous sunshine, it's raining, which makes me think of seeing a movie. However, with a child with Autism or Special Needs, this is not always practical. Many theaters do not offer child-friendly movies. Sometimes the sound is so loud it is painful, or the lights being off scares a child, or even being able to access the seating in the theater is difficult. Until now.

Summertime isn't always fun in the sun. In fact, many locations will have rain. Over the last couple of weeks in Maine, it has not been too sunny. My son has said "I'm bored" to me more than once.
