to start with my sister died of leukemia after many years being sick, i ve had learning trouble all way in school that made me give up school completely. My wife is a special need teacher and together we run a inclusive school in Indonesia since now about 5 years we are none profit and we admit all sort of disability from kids with learning difficulty to mentally retarded, autistic, late development etc we keep live in the school building and home school our kids. we founded the school by our self and founds are long gone, we so far havent been able to find help but miracle happen regularly so we manage to stay open. some of our kids family can afford to pay us a fee but not all. our main problem is to find proper qualified and willing psychologist.

The most valuable piece of advice I would offer to others regarding special needs.
it really depend on what kind of special need, their home environment their level of handicap, they re all so so very much different. mainly trust your child, always be positive, dont listen what people say dont panic, dont judge find some one who really cares
What I hope to gain from My Special Needs Network
