- This is why I am passionate about special needs.
- I am raising two special needs children. one is 13, his brother 9. We have not been able to reach the 9yr old.he is angry, distructive but can be very loving . he is unable to read. i feal as if i am raising jekyll 7 hyde. i have to get this child on the right path!
- Skills: these are areas where I have expertise and might be able to help others.

- The most valuable piece of advice I would offer to others regarding special needs.
- Don't give up! My 13yr old was never supposed to come out of diapers at the best. He had a teacher that gave him her all. she saw in him what many specialist didn't. i am proud to say, he is in a regular classroom, making good grades, loves to read(@ a 12th grade level) & is entering middle school in the fall.There is hope, step away, take a deep breath and try whats next.
