My wife and I have just been granted guardianship of our 6 year old grandson. He is autistic and also has a seizure disorder. We are very new to this and want to give him all the opportunities he deserves in life like every other 6 year old child. My first question is why do all seizure helmets that he has or we have seen have to look like special need items. i know this seems vain but there are main stream helmets ex. Karate, skateboard or bicycle that look alot better. My grandson is going to be treated like all little boys just with some different needs.

BODY WORKS, COMMUNICATION, FURNITURE, INTEGRATIVE THERAPIES
The most valuable piece of advice I would offer to others regarding special needs.
Love them for who they are.
