Lucas is still too young for peanuts, and we still aren't even sure if Sydney is allergic, but she does NOT like anything peanut. Everytime we have tried to give her a little bit, she spits it out and says she doesn't like it. I don't try it anymore, and figure maybe her body is responding by knowing it is allergic, and that's why she has a distaste for it. Of course, my dad doesn't like peanuts either, and he is NOT allergic. Maybe she just doesn't like peanuts! Let me know how your treats turn out, and send any good recipes my way!

Well, we decided to take Sydney to soccer Wednesday, instead of Saturday because of the zoo trip. Sydney usually gets along with other kids, but one boy in this class just started punching her in the arm. The coaches noticed it and told the boy several times to stop. He didn't, and continued to punch her. Sydney, naturally, started crying, and the coaches finally had to take the little boy out of the game. Sydney wasn't seriously hurt, and she continued to finish the game. But again, I would rather just avoid a sitation like this from happening again by avoiding the little boy that's in the class on Wednesdays. Same thing with Sydney - she LOVES soccer, and I don't want anything to ruin it for her either!

There is a "View Thread" feature that is similar to FB. I clicked on that, and am able to post my comment back to you right here (with seeing the previous posts as well).

Hi Gina! The kids are doing okay. Lucas seems to have come down with a cold again (poor guy), and Sydney had an ordeal at soccer this week with a little boy hitting her (it was handled, but I don't think we'll be going to the Wednesday class again). We are taking the kids to the zoo for the first time tomorrow, and Sydney is already excited about it! I'll be sure to take the camera. :)
No big plans for Halloween, but we will be trick-or-treating. We let Sydney pick out her outfit, and she chose a "Spider Princess." I'm not even sure I know what that is. We already have skeleton pjs for Lucas, which will also double as his outfit. And I think my husband is looking forward to eating all of the "peanut" candy that the kids get. Send pictures of Sammy from Halloween - can't wait to see what you do for his zombie outfit!
Take care!
