- This is why I am passionate about special needs.
- Every person is unique and deserves the attention to become the very best that they can be. Students with special needs have so much to give others. The Gen Ed peer tutors who work with our students can tell you the way that these students have changed their lives. I have been teaching special needs for more than 30 years.
- Skills: these are areas where I have expertise and might be able to help others.
- COMMUNICATION, FINE MOTOR, RESOURCES, VISUAL MOTOR
- Needs: these are areas where I have questions and will be looking to learn from others.
- INTEGRATIVE THERAPIES, SENSORY SOLUTIONS, VESTIBULAR ORIENTATION
- The most valuable piece of advice I would offer to others regarding special needs.
- Never underestimate any student, they will in their own way rise to your expectations!
