Profile Information

This is why I am passionate about special needs.
I'm a adult with a learning disability who is married with a son.I would like to see others who like me who wants to have a life that is about achieving personal and proffessional endeavors and to do it in their own time and at their own pace.To not feel like a burden on society or their families is something every person with a disablity should feel in their lifetime.
My Role
Parent, Other
Skills: these are areas where I have expertise and might be able to help others.
BALANCE, COMMUNICATION, FINE MOTOR
Needs: these are areas where I have questions and will be looking to learn from others.
BALANCE, BODY WORKS, COMMUNICATION, FINE MOTOR, MOBILITY, SENSORY SOLUTIONS
The most valuable piece of advice I would offer to others regarding special needs.
The only advice I can give is the one my father Harvey Korman gave me which helped me become the man I'm today in spite of my disability. He told me I can accept struggling in life I just won't tolerate not trying because you might fail.
What I hope to gain from My Special Needs Network
To find a place in San Diego society with other inlightned and engaged citizens who cares more about doing the right thing then being like others who only cares about materialism and self indulgent acts of greed.I want those who are disabled to not feel like a burden on society or their families.that is my goal.
