- This is why I am passionate about special needs.
- I have two special needs children. My 16 year old son has Autism, Tourettes, and type 1 diabetes. My 2 1/2 year old son has Down Syndrome and has successfully beaten AML Leukemia a year ago. I also have an 11 year old step daughter that lives with us (her mother is not around). She has ADD.
- Skills: these are areas where I have expertise and might be able to help others.

- Find a calming outlet for yourself sometimes. You have to remember to tend to your own needs as much as your child(ren).
