Share 'Why Posture Matters for Special Needs Kids'
Our posture is an orchestra of unspoken cues to the outside world. How we sit, stand or move tells a lot about who we are.
Children with special needs often don't have the "cues" that others might, to tell them that they are off center, slumped or bent over. So, as therapists we try to provide exercise, stretching, movement and tools to create not just normalcy but efficiency and function.
