We love to go to horseback riding. There are four of us - so each of us as parents can be a walker with our two boys with autism. We have a place locally that allows us to attend for free. It is the best of time. They have it arranged where they do some theraputic activities with music playing in the background. If any of you have the opportunity to participate in horseback riding...I would definately pursue it as a family activity!! God Bless to all!

You are right....I think all our kids love music. My son, Ryan, listens to his cd player regularly....I catch him spinning sometimes just soooo happy!! I love to see them smile!!

When we all get together we do music. My granddaughter responds to music very well. She laughs, kicks her legs and moves her arms. It is like an aerobics class for her. We sing along with the music and even though she can't talk she makes noises like she is singing. It is wonderful to see the joy on her face when she hears the music start.
